Beyonce Finally Working With Rihanna On New Album?

Are Beyonce and Rihanna finally appearing on an official track together? A tracklist that's being pegged to Beyonce's fifth album hit the web yesterday, and while some sources dispute that it's legitimate, MTV News reached out to Beyonce's camp, but they wouldn't issue a comment. If the tracklist is for real, it boasts features from Rih, Lady Gaga, Azealia Banks, Justin Timberlake and more.
In addition to the appearance of 'Ratchet' which has been the talk of the town since Bey sported her 'ratchet' earrings, there appears to be a song with Rihanna called "Dance (I'm Soon Over)." Although Bey and Rih are practically family at this point, having Jay-Z in common, they haven't been featured on each other's albums as yet.
We wonder if Rihanna got an invite to the crib too? Beyonce told Vogue that she set up a chill atmosphere last summer when she invited artists like Justin Timberlake and Timbaland out to the Hamptons last year as she recorded. "We had dinners with the producers every day, like a family," she said. "It was like a camp — weekends off. You could go and jump in the pool and ride bikes ... the ocean and grass and sunshine. ... It was really a safe place."

French Montana, Nicki Minaj 'Bring Back Dancehall' In 'Freaks' Video

'I haven't seen something like this in a while,' Montana tells MTV News of new sound and dances in latest visual.

Dancehall and hip-hop has always held close sonic ties. Back in 1994, beat-box pioneer Doug E. Fresh and teen dancehall Lil' Vicious collaborated on the unforgettable club staple "Freaks" and almost 20 years later French Montana has resurrected the hit with Nicki Minaj by his side.
"I just feel like that was the perfect song for her. We could've did a strip club song. We just wanted to do something that was big. We both from New York, so I feel like this made sense," Montana told MTV News back in February from the song's video set.

French Montana Thought Dancehall 'Freaks' Was 'Perfect' For Nicki Minaj

The Eif Rivera-directed visual, which hit the Net on Thursday (March 7), centers around a vibrant house party pumped with gyrating dancers, curvaceous models and a fire-breathing dare devil. The track directly lifts the Lil' Vicious chorus and uses it as its own, while the backing beat is derived from the same beat Chaka Demus and Pliers used on their 1990's dancehall classic "Murder She Wrote."
For the song's video, French wanted to combine that Caribbean energy, with a hip-hop twist similar to the dance vibe captured in G. Dep and Diddy's 2001 "Let's Get It" video where the original Harlem Shake dance was introduced into the mainstream.
"I feel like this song brings back the essence of the dancehall. I feel like just the dances alone in this song is gonna take it somewhere else," French said of the latest single off of his upcoming solo debut Excuse My French. "I feel like people missed it, I haven't seen something like this in a while."

'American Idol' Top 10 Revealed!

Surprisingly no Wild Cards were chosen, but two castoffs still have a chance to join the summer tour.

The auditions are finished, Hollywood Week is over, the sudden-death rounds are done and "American Idol" finally set its top 10 on Thursday night (March 7).
For the guys, Lazaro Arbos, Paul Jolley, Burnell Taylor, Curtis Finch Jr. and Devin Velez made the cut. On the ladies' side, Kree Harrison, Candice Glover, Janelle Arthur, Angie Miller and Amber Holcomb earned the five available slots.
Perhaps the evening's biggest surprise was that the pool of finalists was kept to just 10. With the talent assembled in the semifinals — and given the show's history of playing with the numbers — speculation was that a few Wild Cards would be let through during the episode. But producers promised 10 and they delivered 10, leaving several worthy contestants out in the cold.
Among the singers left behind were Zoanette Johnson and Charlie Askew, both of whom made strong impressions — for one reason or another — during their abbreviated "Idol" runs. But they, along with the rest of the singers who didn't make the cut, technically have one more shot to make the "Idol" summer tour: Ryan Seacrest announced at the close of the show that the closest runner-up male and female will compete in a sing-off next week for a chance to make the tour, with America deciding the winner. So, technically, there is still a chance Zoanette could be visiting your town (if she doesn't link up with the touring production of "The Lion King" first).
Which "American Idol" ladies made the grade this week?
The reveals themselves made for some awkward television. The contestants were seated in a holding room backstage, and when their name was called, they walked down a hallway, up a set of stairs and onto the "Idol" stage, where they surprised the studio audience and the judges. The delayed gratification sucked all the excitement out of the announcements, and the contestants were asked to sing victory songs, which were mostly padding for an already drawn-out episode.
Jolley was the first singer through to the top 10, followed by Taylor, Finch, Velez and Arbos.
Arthur was first through for the girls, followed by Glover, Miller, Holcomb and Harrison.
The "American Idol" guys: Who soared and who flopped this week?
A reported 39 million votes were cast this week for the finalists, Seacrest announced, a tally he said was 10 million higher than at this point last year in the competition.
Of course, that could have something to do with the SuperVote function introduced this season, which allows fans to cast 50 online votes at once for their favorite contestants.

Tween star Barbie Forteza releases her first single "Meron Ba." The single will be part of her self-titled debut album which will be released this April under MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines).

"Meron Ba," composed by Freddie Saturno, fits Barbie to a T as it is about young love and having a crush on someone, something that teens like her are experiencing. A lot will surely relate to the song.

"I am so happy that finally, my first single is released. I consider it as a blessing," she said.

With the single "Meron Ba," expect a lot more surprises from Barbie with other songs from her self-titled debut album out this April.

"I am so excited for this album and expect it to be very Barbie: fun, bubbly and young," Barbie said.

Daniel Padilla will be partying away on his natal day via a huge concert!

During a photo shoot, the heartthrob revealed that the Araneta Coliseum will be the site for the celebration of his upcoming big day.

"Regalo ko ito sa mga fans, sa mga supporters ko. Para sa inyo 'yon lahat. Sa mga ibinigay niyo sa akin gusto kong makabawi kaya 'yon mag-enjoy lang tayo sa araw na 'yon," said Padilla, who will be 18-years young on April 26.

He also hinted a 60's inspired theme for the concert. "Good vibes lahat 'yon. 'Yung suot more on black and white, brush up (hairstyle) ang mga tao at more on rock and roll," said Padilla.

"Princess and I" co-stars Enrique Gil, Kahlil Ramos and of course Kathryn Bernardo are all set to participate in the show, which is scheduled on the 30th of April.

Padilla also said that his second album is in the works. It will include the hit Himig Handog single "Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat".

Justin Bieber collapsed during his concert in London but still managed to finish the show for everyone in attendance.

Justin Bieber experienced shortness of breath during his concert in London, causing him to pass out onstage.

Bieber's representative told E! News, "He got oxygen from emergency personnel. He insisted on finishing the show."

He informed the audience beforehand that he wasn't feeling well that night and despite an advice from the doctor, the "Boyfriend" singer returned to the stage to finish the show.

"The fans were so supportive and cheering him on and chanting his name. He came back on and finished 'Believe,' 'Boyfriend,' and 'Baby' but struggled with energy," a concert-goer told E! News.

The concert-goer added, "He said he was really disappointed and he wanted to give the best performance."

Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, said that JB won't be dancing anymore during the show, but the 19-year old sensation did dance and "was still amazing," according to the concert-goer.

He was rushed to the hospital immediately after the show.

On his Instagram account, Bieber posted a photo of him lying down in his hospital bed.

Jireh Lim's famous hit re-enters the countdown today! But what is the song really about?

Jireh Lim's single "Buko," whose video has now reached 1.4 million views on YouTube, is now back on the MYX Daily Top Ten today at No. 10, after falling off the daily countdown last week.

This young singer shared to MYXPH.COM the real story behind his famous song.

"Buko," according to him is "short for 'Buhay Ko,' it's about the love story of my grandparents. Na-inspire lang ako gumawa ng kanta about long-lasting love and till-death-do-us-part theme na song. Kasi yung lolo ko sobrang sweet niya sa lola ko. Matanda na sila pero kapag matutulog na sila hinehele niya yung lola ko, kinakamot niya yung ulo. Nung nakita ko yun, pinicture-an ko and then nung nakita ko ulit yung picture, na-inspire ako na sumulat ng ganung song," he shares.

Jireh adds that he wants the people to relate to his song. "Simula pagkabata hanggang sa pagtanda nila, may pag-asa pa rin na magkaroon ng true love."

He said that he gave the title "Buko" because he wants it to be a new term of endearment para sa mga nagmamahalan. "Hindi lang baby, honey, sweetheart. Yung bago naman, buko," he said.

Stone Temple Pilots unceremoniously fire Scott Weiland. The singer reacts.

American rock band Stone Temple Pilots has "terminated" their lead singer Scott Weiland. They have divulged the information in a single line statement : "Stone Temple Pilots have announced they have officially terminated Scott Weiland."

The frontman has reacted to this news since hearing about it from the media.

"I learned of my supposed 'termination' from Stone Temple Pilots this morning by reading about it in the press," said Weiland in a statement from his own rep. "Not sure how I can be 'terminated' from a band that I founded, fronted and co-wrote many of its biggest hits," he added.

He also said he will let his lawyers deal with this.

STP was formed during the late 80s and rose to fame in 1992 with their debut album "Core". The band broke up in 2002 but reunited after six years, recorded their self-titled album and embarked on a world tour.

Scott Weiland is set to go on his solo "Purple At The Core" tour in the US with a new band starting March 1.
